This is a wide-brimmed hat that is popularly worn in Mexico and USA. It is also known as a Sombrero (Hat in Spanish). It has a high pointed crown, an extra-wide brim (broad enough to cast a shadow over the head, neck and shoulders of the wearer, and slightly upturned at the edge), and a chin string to hold it in place.
It measures 60 cm or 23.5 inches wide.
